Wicked Gluten + Sugar Free Waffles
I love waffles.
I love them any way I can have them.
They are a fan favourite here in our house!
So if you have a waffle maker you have to try this really healthy recipe that we make! It is awesome.
Every single person who has slept over here and had a waffle breakfast has raved about them.
My son even requests them for dinner sometimes!
Wicked Gluten + Sugar Free Waffles Recipe
1 cup coconut flour (or sub your preferred gluten free flour - just not chickpea - that didnt taste so good)
1 cup grounded gluten free oats
1/4 cup grounded flax seed (add more grounded oats if you do not have this)
1 tablespoon baking powder (gluten free option)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mylk (I use almond or rice mylk)
2 eggs (free range and organic are best) - to make vegan use flaxseed egg substitute
2 heaping tablespoons organic coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla
2 whole bananas (use this instead of sugar)
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high until smooth (about 30-45sec).
Let rest for 5 min
Add to hot waffle grill and cook like you would normally cook other waffle recipes.
For me my light turns on when it is ready but I think it cooks for 4-5 minutes
