Fighting winter threats naturally

It all started with a throat thing. You know the hurts a little to swallow.
Nothing big.
I ignored it.
I had a mission to get my house cleaned.
That was the priority.
And I rarely catch a threat.
But I ignored the symptoms.
I didn’t get ahead of it.
Instead I let it brew in my body all day while I thought that getting the beds cleaned was the most important thing.
Oh how I was wrong.

What I should have done at the first sign of a threat:

⭐ Popped an OnGuard Soft Gel morning and night.
⭐ Applied Breathe Respiratory Blend or my homemade Breathe Better Blend to my chest (morning and night).
⭐ Applied my homemade Bug Buster Blend to my feet (morning and night).
⭐ Diffused my favourite threat fighting blend: 2 drops Arborvitae, 2 drops OnGuard, 2 drops Frankincense, 2 drops Wild Orange (refill every time it is empty).What I did instead….nothing…..I took an OnGuard SoftGel before bed because at that point I was way too exhausted to even think about how I would feel the next day.

Now let me paint a picture for you of how I feel today because I chose to do nothing yesterday:

⭐ Restless nights sleep making me super tired today.
⭐ Achy + heavy body.Every step I take hurts.
⭐ Hard to swallow.Hurts to swallow.
⭐ Head hurts.mmNot quite a headache but it is something.
⭐ My eyes are burning.
⭐ I have all of the feels today.
And I don’t like any of them.
It is taking everything in me to even write this right now!
Threat is in full effect right now.
Completely taking over my body.

Oh how I have learned.

Here is how I will be taking care of myself today:

⭐ I started my morning by oil pulling with 1 tsp of organic coconut oil and 1 drop of OnGuard.
I normally do this for 15-20min in the morning but today because I am stuffed up I only did about 11 minutes.
Oil puling helps to pull the toxins out of your mouth and out of your body.Google that - it is pretty fascinating!

⭐ Taking a full dose of my high quality natural supplements.
This morning I took 1/2 does of Life Long Vitality, 1 x PB Assist, 1 x TerraZyme, + 1 x Mito2Max.
This afternoon I will repeat everything except Mito2Max because it is a natural energy increaser.

⭐ Peppermint Touch Rollerbottle on my forehead and temples to help with the head tension.

⭐ PastTense Rollerbottle on my neck and shoulders to help lessen the tension there.

⭐ Taking my OnGuard soft gels consistently (4 in total today).

⭐ Breathe Better Blend on my chest every few hours.

⭐ Bug Buster Blend to my feet every few hours.

⭐ Diffuser going all day long - still sticking with this blend: 2 drops Arborvitae, 2 drops OnGuard, 2 drops Frankincense, 2 drops Wild Orange.

⭐ Gargling this Throat Soother:In a shot glass of warm water mix in:1 drop of On Guard + 1 drop of lemon + 1/4 tsp of salt.Mix well.Gargle for 30sec.
Spit into sink.
Repeat as often as needed.
I keep a big glass of this pre-mixed in the bathroom and gargle after every time I wash my hands.
If you have young kids please keep this out of reach so they don’t play with it or drink it.

⭐ Homemade Tea: Boil Water.Let cool for about 5 minutes.Mix in 1 tsp of home, 2 slices of fresh lemon + 1 drop of On Guard.Sip and enjoy.

⭐ Drinking a minimum of 3L of water.With each litre of water I add 1 drop of a citrus oil to help with internal cleansing.I should be clean eating today.But in reality I know I will eat foods that are warm and take the least amount of work.

⭐ Rest.Rest.Rest.I am actually scheduled to work tonight so I am trying to get my shift covered so I can rest my body but also so I do not infect a crap ton of people who love to eat at restaurants.I will have a full on Netflix day and enjoy this guilt free.

⭐ Stop the spreading of germs!No kissing anyone (I love planting kisses all over my baby boy).Sneezing into a Kleenex or into my sleeve (never my hands).Washing my hands with OnGuard foaming hand soap after I blow my nose - every single time!

⭐ Not going out.Staying in.The less places I go the less chance I have of contaminating anyone or anything I come in contact with.This also means not going to the doctor.I do not need help with the common cold and FYI - neither do you :-)Below you will find the full recipe to my Bug Buster Blend and the Breathe Better Blend.FYI these should be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge so that you have them made for when you have a threat to deal with.This is not something you made the day you are not feeling your best!

How to make my Bug Busting Blend:

Recipe for one 4oz jar or 120ml
This recipe must be made ahead of time

⭐ 5 tablespoons coconut oil
⭐ 5 tablespoons olive oil or grapeseed oil
⭐ 2 tablespoons beeswax pastilles
⭐ 15 drops of Frankincense
⭐ 15 drops of Lemon
⭐ 15 drops of Melaleuca Tea Tree Oil
⭐ 15 drops of OnGuard Protective Blend
⭐ 15 drops of Oregano
On low heat, slowly heat the coconut oil, olive oil + beeswax. Melt Slowly.Stir occasionally.When all have melted completely remove from heat. Add oils to your jar and wait to pour the melted mixture until you can touch the side of it with your hands.  Cover with a paper towel and let sit overnight.
 NOTES: Makes about one 4oz jar. Shelf life is 3-4 months.When not in use, store in the fridge.Application: Rub on bottom of your feet, chest, or back 3-4/day when you feel seasonal threats coming on.Use every 2-3 hours when you have full symptoms.
