Beachy Greens Green Smoothie

This is my favourite all time green smoothie.  

So much so that I likely make this particular recipe 4 or 5 times a week.  

I make a big batch of it.  

Cayden and I drink a big one for breakfast or for mid morning snack.  

Then we drink the rest after nap time.  

It is delicious, refreshing and super good for you.  

I think it tastes like a vacation.

All this smoothie needs is an umbrella and a beach blanket!

Beachy Greens Green Smoothie

Island Vacation Green Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 Orange

  • 2 large handfuls of greens or 2 packed tight cups of greens (I use spinach or lettuce)

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk, kefir or plain yogurt

  • 1-2 cups water depending on how to like the consistency

Blend all until smooth - for me that is about 2 minutes.

Optional:If you want to detox you can add a lemon instead of an orange (or both)
Save some for later in a glass mason jar filled to the top to prevent oxidisation.  Drink within 24 hours
